Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Landlord Took My Property To The Dump!

I was recently evicted from the home that I had owned but was forced to sell after 18 years by the new owner. As I had only 5 days to move, I was forced to leave behind a lot of my belongings at the time of the lockout. When I sent someone to the property to inquire about my stuff, they were told that they took all of my belongings to the dump. The owner never notified me that he was doing this and I left a lot of expensive antique furniture behind thinking the landlord had to keep my things safe and notify me before destroying them. I need someone to file a conversion suit for me. Help!

Re: Landlord Took My Property To The Dump!

first of all, i would like to offer you my deepest sympathies regarding the monetary and " sentimental emotional" losses you suffered as a result of all of this. it is a truly a shame that another human being would do that to you, especially after 18 years of tenancy. if you would like legal assistance and/or representation on this matter in the hopes of getting you justice asap, please feel free to email my law office today with additional information regarding how this all started and what motivations your landlord might have had in unceremoniously discarded your belongings so hastily. hopefully, we can right this wrong for you asap for what all you have gone thru.
