Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Landlord says I can't return to premises to visit nephew

After I was evicted I was frequently visiting to babysit my nephew, I never spent the night and I do not park on the premises. Today I was told I could not visit my nephew because I had been evicted. Is this true?

If you were evicted simply for not paying rent, the answer is no. If you were evicted for a reason that involves creating a nuisance, then the answer is "perhaps". The landlord has a right and duty to protect the property and the peace and quiet of the tenants.
