Landlord / tenant dispute

My landlord wants me to move

out of my apartment for 3 days

while they tent the builing for

termites. How much advanced

notice is required and what type

of compensation is required.

You are in a rather inconclusive area of the law.

Landlord needs to give reasonable notice, and reasonable compensation.

My best guess is that a week would be reasonable, and that landlord pay for a decent motel, and meals (not a suite at the Hilton, or five star restaurants).

I can't give a better answer without knowing your amount of rent, and where you are located.
