No, because judgment must be enforced either by the losing party paying the damages awarded or somehow enforcing the judgment.

No. There can be an appeal of the judgment. Also, if the plaintiff prevailed there may be a lock out conducted by the sheriff and collection action taken on any money judgment entered.
