Landlord/Tenant issus

I have been locked out of a property where I have between $7000.00 & $10,000.00 worth of equipment at. I was told that there is an injunction against me but I have check both in person and on line with the Superior Court and nothing has been filed with my name on it, nor have I been served with any court paper work. I owe them money for back rent that I couldn't afford to pay, but the amount is in question. The owner is try to charge me for a licence for the property to keep animals on it. I checked today and I couldn't even get a licence in my name because only the property owner can get the licence. And the licence is not in my name at all nor is it stated anywhere in my rental agreement about need to pay for a licence or obtain and maintain one to be there. Please let me know how I can legally get into the property to retreve my personl belongings.

It would appear that your landlord exercised something called "self-help." This is not permissible, and as such, you need to meet with a local real estate attorney as soon as possible. You may be forced to file your own lawsuit to be restored to possession of the property now that he has locked you out. If nothing has been filed in court, then the landlord has no right to have locked you out of the property.
