Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

My lawn-lady in a previous conversation (On DEC 3rd) was informed verbally that my and my wife are to move out on the 23rd of Jan. She informed me I needed to give her my 30 days notice still (Even though it was more than 30 days off.) and informed me that from there she would take care of it. I asked her several times, over the course of the month of Dec, and she even informed me that I was to pay my full months rent, + some of February, (Which makes no sense, because I would be gone by the 24th.) now she claims we have to be moved out by the 3rd... Of January.

Now, she is claiming false damage, and even insulting my wife over the phone? I just want to know my rights, and what I can do. I just need to manage up until the 25th, when I leave the state of California for good, thank god.

Depending on his long you lived there , the landlord has given you 30 or 60 days notice, you do not have to provide notice. The landlord has to provide written notice, verbally telling you does not work. If you give 30 day notice now in writing, assuming you can under a month to month, you will pay through that day.
