Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
My lease expires at the end of the month but I need about 10 more days until I can move. My landlord has a security deposit of $4,000 and I have NOT missed any rent payments. The unit is in excellent condition. I have to move because landlord is selling but no offers yet. Can she legally kick me out if I stay until the 10th of the next month if I pay her rent for those days?

Legally, yes, realistically, no. It takes a lot longer than that to get an eviction done.
