Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

How to legally get rid of theives

Our family manages a mobilehome park in california. We have had some thefts in the park recently. One of our tenants moved out because he caught three guys trying to steal tools out of his work trailer. One of the guys is staying here with his dad (who is a tenant). The tenant caught him red-handed but never called the police. He then stopped by the office on his way out to tell us who it was. How do we go about getting him out of the park? The thief is not a tenant here. I feel that, we just tell him and his dad what we were told and tell him he has to leave and not come back. What can we do to legally keep them out (on just heresay?) Please help - thank you.

You will most likely have to start a lawsuit to evict the tenant-father, and include the son. Your grounds are that the father is harboring a person who is not authorized to live there, and has broken into other trailers. Good luck.
