Lien Sale

A person we have never met or done business with has placed a lien sale against our 5th wheel trailer located on a piece of property rented by our uncle. We have opposed the lien. I confirmed with the DMV that they have the opposition on file. can we legally go get the trailer and bring it home. It is not in the possession of the person who filed the lien.
