Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Hi. I live on the bottom floor of an apartment complex and my neighbor just set up a webcam in his window which faces his door, but also mine. I feel like it's an invasion of privacy, not knowing if he can see in my house every time i open the door, and being recorded without my consent makes me uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do about this?

Talk to your neighbor about it, and see if he actually is videoing your door. If so, perhaps he can narrow the focus a bit. Explain to him your concerns.
