Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I live in California and am currently out of work so I rent out rooms in the house I own and also live in so that I can pay my mortgage. I bought a copy of "The California Landlord's Law Book: Rights & Responsibilities" but there is very little information regarding my unique situation. Are there any good books available that discuss how the law specifically applies to the situation where a landlord shares the same house with his tenants in California? What sections of California law, if any, speak to this issue?
