Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I live in a downstairs apartment, the people that live above me are extremely noisy I have complained to the manager but basically she tells me there is nothing she can do, can I take them to court to get out of my lease? At this point I just want to move I can't take it anymore. Thank you for your time.

Violation of the right of quiet enjoyment is remedied by money damages for the diminished value of the apartment, a restraining order against the neighbor, and a court order that the landlord enforce reasonable standards regarding noise.
