Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I live with my girlfriend (soon to to ex) for less than a year,we share the expenses and she claims she has a legal right to expect a 30 written notice, there is no written agreement and I own the home. I gave her verbal notice June 13th to be out July 10th, who is correct? Thanks

Technically her legal status is lodger, and they are entitled to most of the same rights as tenants, including the same notices. 30-days sounds right from the situation you describe.
