if i live in a home that is considered by the city inspector substanderd and the landlord serves me with a three day. I pay half of the rent due to the house situation and the landlord accepts it. can he serve me with another three day for the rest

by accepting any part of the rent the landlord causes the served three day notice to be invalid. until there is a court determination as to what the rent should be,however, you are in violation of the lease unless you pay the full amount of the previously agreed to rent, so the landlord can serve you with a new three day notice for the unpaid amount
