Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I have lived at my apartment for 11 years and have a severely disabled child it's not section 8 but the building gets some type of tax break there for there are restrictions on living here. I have never been late on my rent there has never been any complaints about me i pretty much stay to my self I recently received notice that it was brought to their attention that i had unauthorized people staying in my unit and was in violation this is not true and their can not be any concrete evidence that i do because i do not I do have visitors daily and 2 baby sitters that are here on a regular basis but they don't spend the night is management watching me all day and night to see who comes and goes or what is this a form of harassment i feel like they are now watching me and why i don't believe they have the right to dictate who and when i have company if we are not bothering anyone do they? are they invading my privacy and could they evict me for something like this?

Your building has residency restrictions and overnight visitor limitations. Those are legal limitations. Those rules would be meaningless if they could not watch you and your building and see who comes and goes when. If you are not breaking the rules they cannot evict you for it. If they do, you can sue them for wrongful eviction.
