Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I have been living on this apartment for 4 years, we had lease contract for 1 year only and have one month advance payment and same amount deposit for security. we (landlord and myself) have no bad relationship; I mean no late payment, no damage. I am moving out soon.

When I move out, Do I need to pay Carpet Cleaning, painting their apartment and cover the pin (Thumb pin)holes on the wall?

Please, provide the rule and regulation what it says.

Basic rule is you must leave the unit clean and in the condition it was when you moved in, except normal wear and tear. So a carpet cleaning is definitely in your future as well as patching any holes. Can't speak to paint without seeing it.
