Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
LLC lease agreements
When filling out a lease agreement as an LLC, do you fill out all names and sign as the LLC or as an individual of the LLC? Especially if trying to reduce Liability.
Thank you

Re: LLC lease agreements
Your signature should indicate that you are signing in your capacity as a member or manager of the LLC. Here is a sample:
GREAT TENANT, LLC

John Smith, Member (or Manager)
Failure to follow that or a similar protocol might be interpreted as a personal guarantee of the lease.
