how long
we are renting a house the owner lost it to forclosure now we recieved a notice that sats unlawfull detainer on his name how long do we have to move we live in california

Contact the new owner's attorney and see if you can work something out to stay.
If not, and you've been there more than a year, then it's 60 days. If less than a year, 30 days, unless you live in a rent stabilization district. Then you might have other protections.
The best bet is to let the new owner's attorney know that the owner hasn't lived there for many years, that you are tenants from before, and the terms of your written rental agreement. The bank might be willing to keep you in place for the same or even less rent.
