how long does a ud stay open if neither party asks for a trial my landlord served the eviction papers and we answered them havent gotten a ct date and have called the ct daily but no ct date

If you want a trial and potentially be forced to move, you could file a memorandum to set case for trial. However, most tenants would want to drag it out as long as possible.
Some bank owners have had a moratorium on evictions during the holiday season. Could that be the case?
