Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

i am in the military and my wife is at home alone a lot, can she get a service dog because she is depressed when i leave here and there a lot?.... i am really trying to find a loop hole to where she can have a dog at our apartment complex that doesn't allow pets.... but she does get depressed when i leave here and there a lot...

A certain amount of depression is very common; she will need a psychiatrists to say she definitely needs a dog. Otherwise, you will have to move to a complex that accepts pets. Even if she does get a service animal, the landlord can raise the rent to cover having a pet.
