mold and health
My tenant broke a hole in the shower wall. Then he said he can smell mold in the shower and did not feel well that day. What trouble to me can he cause with that health issue? How can he prove there is mold, or i prove there is no mold. How do i prove the wall failed becuase if hard kick and not the mold.

Your first question should not be about trouble, but whether or not there is mold.

You can buy tests kits at most drug stores, or Target, Long's, Walmart, etc.

Until he knows, or you know, about mold, he can't cause trouble. He can now, if you make no effort to get rid of it, and can sue you for damages.

You can't prove how the wall failed, and neither can he. What is important will be who the judge and/or jury believe, if it gets that far.
