Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

help! We have mold!

We are renting a house near the beach and it has extensive mold damage. The landlord will not even return my calls regarding this matter. What steps do I need to take, is she responsible for my relocation costs? It looks like this has been an overlooked problem for quite some time now.
