Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I don't have money to file in unlawful detainer case. I was served, now I found out my wife and I have to pay to file as the defendants?? I don't have money to file thats why I can't move out of the property yet, I don't have money. What should I do?

You may want to try to get a fee waiver package and fill it out. There are forms online for the fee waiver. The request is here: http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/fw001.pdf
