money owed for damage by renter
A tenant moved out of a house and $3100. worth of ''beyond normal wear and tear'' damage was reported. The deposit covers $1500. of this amount. The tenant has gone to a known address in AZ. Can this person be taken to small claims court?

Take the person to small claims court in California and have him served with the complaint in AZ. Once you get a judgment against him, you can apply for a sister state judgment in AZ where you can seize his assets. Good Luck.
