You might go to the law library and look in some of the books for the following: demurrer, motion to strike, motion for judgment on the pleadings, or motion for summary judgment. Then you will have to research the applicable law to include in the pleading, and analyze the law as it pertains to your case.

More than likely, you will have to answer the complaint and state your affirmative defenses, and go through the process of litigating your case.

In many of the larger metropolitan areas, there are law groups that help tenants and former homeowners with evictions for either a donation, reduced fee, or for free. There might be flyers or postings at your local courthouse that could direct you to such services.
