Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Motion to Quash

I wanted to know if I can file a motion to quash on my own or would I need a lawyer to do it for me. If it is possible for me to file on my own, how would I go about it? And also does it need to be filed at the time I submit my answer to the unlawful detainer?

Re: Motion to Quash

You don't file an answer. The motion to quash takes the place of the answer. You can do it yourself, but it is not that easy.
