Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I moved into a place in California which was occupied by two other people. I sign a month to month agreement with one of the tenants, he is the person who's name is on the lease. My name is not on the house lease. He has given me a 30 day notice. Can he really just kick me out with no reason, just a 30 day notice? Is there anything i can do to fight this?

Yes, he can. If there is no written lease, then tenancy can be construed as 30 day (month to month) tenancy.
