Moving out from an Apartment & roomate stays

I will be moving out by Feb. 1st 2008, and my roomate will have a new roomate. Should I be getting my deposit back from her or the landlord?

I cannot answer your query as written.

If you signed a lease with landlord, and gave landlord your deposit, landlord has 21 days to return deposit, minus deductions.

On the other hand, if you are a sub-tenant, and your lease is with your roommate, and you paid deposit to roommate, then same as above.
