Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

during the Ex parte application to stay of eviction hearing, nothing was addressed to the motion to set aside the default judgement. Judge said we were not there for that and then denied all motions IO put in for and gave a new lock out date. So what is my next step to challenge the lockout and eviction?

You will want to file a noticed motion to set aside the default and default judgment. Ex parte applications are for limited purposes. While the motion is pending, you might ask the court to extend the lockout date, though you might be required to pay the daily rental rate during that period.
