Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
PG&E recently turned off my electricity 2 weeks after making a sizeable payment and I have 3 children in the house. They forced me then to pay the remaining balance, which was fine except then tried to enforce a security deposit. Is this all within their rights to do so? My payment previous to the 2 weeks had been within 45 days, I am a little lost at how they can enforce something like this with no repercussions
