Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
The property I have leased for cattle grazeing has been foreclosed on.Does the Bank have to give me notice and how much time do I have to vacate the property.
1 Answer from Attorneys
Ordinarily, with traditional residential property, the lender must give you only a three day notice to quit the property. Because, however, this is agricultural property, I do not know the answer, and it raises many questions such as who will tend and care for the cattle if you cannot remove them in time. You need to contact an attorney in your area who specializes in agricultural law - there aren't likely to be any on this forum, and the answer is probably very complex given how many unique laws apply to agricultural property.
