Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
The property management company for our residence did not inform us that there was a death inside the residence prior to us moving in. We are now moving and are wondering if we can sue the property management company for non-disclosure of the death at our residence.

You can certainly terminate the lease. I am not certain what damages you would claim, other than moving costs, so a suit is not unheard of or impossible, but the damages would probably be minimal.

Mr. Linden is wrong. There is a legal requirement that a death on the premises must be disclosed during a sale of the property, but there is no such requriement regarding a lease, unless it is connected to making the premises uninhabitable.
