protect others from bad tenant

My tenant did not pay me for 2 months of rent. I want to make sure my bad tenant does not do ths to anyone else. Is there an agency i can refer him to, credit report agency, something to stick to him for long and would be visibe during the credit check or some other check.

If you filed an unlawful detainer with the court, your tenant's history will be reported on the UD Registry. Landlords should know to check it before renting.

Additionally, if you get a judgment for back rent, and record the judgment with the county recorder, it will be on record there. Judgments also usually appear on credit reports.

In addition to Mr. Cohen's thorough and competent answer, an unlawful detainer (eviction) also appears on the credit reports of the three reporting agencies.
