Rats
If a rat has died underneath a house you are renting, who is responsible for its removal. renter or landlord? thanks

You should examine the terms of your lease to see who is responsible for such maintanaence. In some cases if the rats are symptoms of a larger health hazard the landlord may be responsible.

If it is dead, just throw it into a garbage bag, and then the dump.
I am sure nothing in your lease covers a provision of removing a singe deceased rat.
