Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I am getting ready to move out of an apartment complex. I was told I need to wash the base boards, window sills, fan blades, and other things or I will be charged $200 for a cleaning fee. I lived there for 2 years. I am not saying I am messing but I don�t have time to go around and do all that. Isn�t that their responsibility?

Read your lease but you clean it or pay someone else to do it...

It is your responsibility to deliver the premises as you received them. So unless you received them dirty you have to clean or pay for cleaning.
