if your getting ready to rent an apartment and you sign a good faith agreement and did not sign a lease and payed a deposit and havent moved in and decide that you dont want to rent the apartment anymore are you entitled to your money back

What is a "good faith agreement"? If you signed a contract to rent, you were bound by the contract when you signed it. The deposit can be applied to moneis owed under California Civil Code section 1950.5.
