receipt for rent
Is there a law about that a landlord or their accociates must give you a receipt for rent paid when requested?

Your check serves as a receipt. You should insist on a receipt for any cash payment.

There is no specific law the requires them to provide a receipt. If they won't give a receipt, then you should only paid by check.
