Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I was looking at my rental agreement and noticed the deposit I was charged for was a different amount I gave the landlord. What can I do?

Go to the landlord and point out an error was made and that the written contract is superior to anything verbal, so you wish the difference back.
