Rental Eviction

Being evicted due to repairs of the back porch utility room, Roof leaks; has leaked for 2 years, before the renters moved in, never been late on rent payment. Is this a legal eviction, if not what should be done?

Re: Rental Eviction

I don't have enough facts to answer.

There is a difference between an eviction, and landlord giving you 30 days notice to terminate the lease. Which is it?

Who are the renters who moved in?

Did you have a month-to-month agreement, or a written lease for longer period?

Have you complained to any city or county authorities regarding the roof leaking?

Please e-mail, or call me, with these details, and I will try to help you.
