Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
We have been in a rental house for over three years. The owner is now selling the house and we were given a 30 day notice. We found a new place and will be moving soon. Can the landlord have an entirely new roof put on while we are still living there and paying full rent?

It depends on whether it makes the place uninhabitable or not. He was supposed to give you 60 days notice, btw.
