Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Rental Property

I am an active duty military member paying a property management company to manage my property while I am stationed overseas. In the last 2 years I have had 2 tenants. I recently went to my property to look at it because I will be moving back into it. I found damages to my property that the management company let the tenants move out with out addressing. Can I hold the management company responsible for the repairs needed to my residence . I had a meeting with the manager and they could not provide me with any paper work showing they checked my residence when the tenants moved out. Is there anything I can do?
