Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Rental question

Is it legal for a landlord/realtor to show a house without the permission of the occupants? I have given my 30 days notice but had not moved out my belongings yet when I found out that the realtor had been showing the exterior and interior of the house.

Re: Rental question

The landlord and real estate agent must give you reasonable notice, and are certainly entitled to show the house.

You are ambiguous as to whether you were out, and your belongings were still in the house, or whether you were still living there.

Showing the exterior should not be a problem, however.

You should write both landlord and realtor and insist upon 24 hour notice, until your lease expires.
