Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

my rental rights

I just got a 30 day notice to move out. There is no reason included for the notice to leave the apartment. What does this mean, how can I find out what I need to do if I don't want to move.

Thank you. Signed, Confused!

Re: my rental rights

They do not need a reason to give you a 30-day notice. If you have lived there more than 1 year, you are entitled to a 60 day notice.

This is assuming you do not live in a rent control area.
