Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I rented a house for 2+ yrs. During that time, mold was discovered. Myself and 3 kids all suffered health related issues (ear infections, asthma, nose bleeds, upper respiratory infections, etc), during that time. We have medical documentation that states that the causes were mold related. I also missed work becuase of the contant illness I suffered.

The landlord sent mold cleaing companies, mold testing companies, etc, to remedy the problem, after I complained in writing. Pictures were also taken. The landlord didn't charge rent for 11/10, due to the inconvenience.

In 08/11, there was another incident of another water leak, in the kitchen. I informed the landlord as soon as I discovered the source. The water leaked under the kitchen, living room & dining rooms subfloor, carpet padding, and carpet. Carpet padding was removed, and heavy duty blowers were used for 3 days. The landlord refused to remove kitchen linoleum or dry out kitchen subfloor.

I was finally able to move my family into another home on 10/9/11.

Has the Statute of Limitations ran for me to sue for in habitabilty for all the mold issues my family endured during that time?

I finally was able to move out of the
