Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I'm a renter and lately I've been noticing roaches in my home. My question is, Is it my landlords responsibility to remove them? We have informed her about them and she has provided us with store bought products but it failed.
So what should I do?

It depends on the source of the roaches. If you are renting a single family home, which your question implies, and you have been there a while, it is virtually certain that you brought the roaches in. They often come into homes hidden in packages or produce. That makes them your responsibility. If you are in an apartment, then it becomes a bit more difficult to identify the source and the responsibility that follows.
