Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I am a renter in Roseville , Ca. 95678 . The landlords at this current address pays for water and I pay for garbage.
I am moving to Granite Bay, Ca 95746. The landlord is asking that I pay water and they pay for garbage, ( water is on a meter)
I thought that if a homeowner has more than one home and is renting one that they are required to pay water ??

I have no idea where you got that idea. The tenant pays for everything that the landlord does not specifically agree to pay for. The tenant has no legal right to have the landlord pay for anything. It is all a matter of what the lease the parties sign says.
