Renters

My name is--name removed-- I have been my apparment for 3 months now. When i signed my lease aggerment i didnt have a dog. I recently got one and didnt notify my managers. I asumed it was ok, due to they have one my nebriours do and apt.#6 have a cat. My dog is 2.7lbs and is house tranned. She states she did tell us and i cant rember if she did or not, but in my aggremnet doesnt state i cant have one? What should be my next step?

Offer the landlord a "pet deposit." I assume your lease is for a year. If there were to be no pets, it should have been in the lease or in written rules. Landlord might be out of luck if she tries to evict.
