Renters Lease

I cosigned for my nephew to get an apartment, that he now can't afford. How do I remove myself from the lease so I can stop paying his rent.

You don't.

As Mr. Cohen succinctly put it, help him move!

Negotiate with the landlord. You have signed a contract promising to pay if he doesn't. You are obligated!
