My 1 yr lease ends 070108 and am pd thru til then In April 08 LL asked if I'd B staying I said yes, he said it go M2M and rent would be 1500 I agreed. End of May 08 LL came by said M2M rent would be now 1600 w/1600 deposit. I said No we agreed last month to1500 no deposit. Ive lived here for 1 year w/out deposit req. The next day he agreed back to 1500 m2m. 2 days later he said 1600 rent + 1600 deposit paid B4 70108 (i'm pd up til 70108 already) Today LL gave me new M2M papers saying that I have to pay 1600 deposit by 62608 to hold my own apt. for myself to rent. Can LL keep changing agreements like this and can he req. a deposit from me after I've lived here for year and he did need a deposit when I first moved in then?
