Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I am renting a room from some one. I gave him a thirty day notice that expires on November 30th, but he packed up the remaining stuff I had in the room so he can show the room to potential tenets. Is he allowed to do that?

A landlord has the right to show a soon-to-be vacant unit to prospective tenants, within reason.
